WHAT DUTIES WILL I HAVE TO PERFORM IF I WORK AS A FITTER AND TURNER?
As part of your daily activities, you may be expected to:
Measure machinery components to make sure they are the correct size
Weld and assemble metal machinery components
Make sure that all machinery joints are secure
Inspect machinery and tools, ensuring that all parts are in working order
Carry out maintenance and repairs on machinery as required
