Dangerous Goods Handling
The world we live in is made up of chemicals. Whether we are referring to the earth itself, the air we breather or the food we eat; all of it consists of chemicals working together.
Even us, the plants and the animals are made up of combinations of chemicals.
We can divide the occurrence of chemicals into two groups: man-made and naturally occurring. Man-made chemicals are, for instance, medicines, cleaning agents and cosmetics while natural chemicals can be found in our food, the air and water. Both groups harbour some chemicals that can potentially be poisonous.
This dangerous goods training course will help in on how to safely navigate our way around hazardous chemicals.
A span of 15 modules will cover topics that involve everything from legislation to health risks and how to properly handle dangerous goods like hazardous chemicals. Upon completion of this dangerous goods certificate the learner will be much better equipped to ensure safety under circumstances that involve dangerous chemicals and/or substances.
